Sweet Bella – A Chocoholic’s Dream

I just had the most sensuous chocolate fix at Sweet Bella, in Forbestown Center, Bonifacio Global City. Hot dark chocolate, served in a pot and poured into a demitasse cup to be savored slowly. Just the way I like it hot, dark, and rich, a chocoholic’s dream.

Met the owner who named the store after her daughter Isabel. She graciously offered us samples of french macaroons in passion fruit, salted caramel, coffee and chocolate flavors. I loved the passion fruit macaroon for it tangy taste and salted caramel for its sweet salty buttery flavor. The coffee macaroon just bursts with flavor on the first bite. A definite winner.

Her passions are chocolate and strawberries. She figured why not open a dessert shop specializing in chocolates and strawberries. Hence, Sweet Bella.

I highly recommend her best dessert, Chocolata, a moist chocolate cake creation wrapped in dark chocolate lattice, topped with chocolate curls and accented with a butterfly chocolate. Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate.

Coming soon are her hand-made chocolate truffles and candies, which I look forward to sampling.

Sweet Bella is definitely a chocoholic’s haven.
